What do most people want to get out of their bodybuilding workout and health and fitness efforts? Overall, most people want two things. Firstly, they want to lose fat, and secondly they want to build big muscles. Yet these two goals exist at pretty much the opposite edges of the spectrum when it comes to how to train.
To build more muscle its obvious that you will need to take in more calories. How else are muscle tissues supposed to grow? They can’t grow from nothing. They need the building materials that food provides. Yet if your goals is also to lose fat, you need to do exactly the opposite thing, in other words, eat a lot less calories that usual.
