March 24, 2007 panel on Poetry, Activism and the Tibetan Freedom Movement. Our distinguished guides in navigating this vast and dynamic landscape are Tenzin Tsundue, Ngodup Tsering and Topden Tsering.

Tenzin Tsundue is a poet and activist and is General Secretary of the Friends of Tibet, India.

Ngodup Tsering is the former General Secretary of Education, Central Tibetan Administration (CTA); former Director of Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) and former Deputy of the Assembly of Tibetan People’s Deputies (ATPD).

Topden Tsering is an essayist and activist and is a former president of the Tibetan Youth Congress, San Francisco.

The Chinese government has killed 1.2 million innocent Tibetan people since 1949 invasion of Tibet.
It hasn’t ended yet.

We truly hope people all over the world know and see this problem.

To Chinese people,
Let’s make China a better country. Don’t forgive the Chinese government. Don’t ignore what they have done and what they are doing. Tell the truth to your neighbors.

The Tibet Fund

The Tibet Fund is the primary non-profit organization dedicated to helping Tibetans improve their lives and preserve their distinct cultural, religious and national identity. Our main emphasis so far has been to fund health, education, community development and cultural preservation projects in Tibetan refugee settlements in India, Nepal and Bhutan, and to support rehabilitation services for the thousands of new refugees who continue to arrive from Tibet every year.
The Tibet Fund also actively supports the Central Tibetan Administration by administering the Tibetan Solidarity or Blue Book Project, which was started in 1987. Through the Khawachen Assistance Program (KAP), the Tibet Fund also helps Tibetans in Tibet by providing funds to local NGOs for projects that treat and prevent blindness, house and care for orphans, and provide educational opportunities and emergency relief.

China’s brutality in Tibet exposed on film

Mar. 20 – The Central Tibetan Administration releases ‘China’s brutality in Tibet exposed’, a documentary film of what they say are Chinese atrocities on the Tibetans. Horrific new video from Central Tibetan Administration showing terrible injuries and damge from torture by Chinese in Tibet.
Also Video footage of Chinese attacking helpless monks and civilians in Tibet.
Tibet remains under Martial Law 1,000’s have been murdered and disapeared over the last year.
1.5 billion Tibetans have died at the hands of the Chinese in Tibet. Though there are many footages of the protests taking place throughout Tibet last year that were splashed across the world, the following are one of the rare footages of police beating of protestors, the suffering and death of a captive, and Para-military presence in Lhasa, which managed to make its way to the outside world.
However, the following footages testify to what is truly happening in Tibet as recently as 2008.

Central Tibetan Administration critizes Chinese crackdown in Tibet

Central Tibetan Administration in Dharamsala held a press conference to criticize recent Chinese crackdown in Tibet. Tibetans are rounded up without reason and the government is forcing Tibetans to celebrated Losar. Kalon Kelsang Yeshi and Dakpo Sonam read the statement in English and Tibetan. They also took questions from the media.

Interview with Information Secretary for Central Tibet Administration

On May 13th I Interviewed Tukton Sample(sp?) the Information Secretary of The Department of Information and International Relations of the Central Tibetan Administration

The video is his explanation of the mission of H.H Dalai Lama and the Central Tibetan Administration.
